Transition into a first-time manager, one should know the importance of meeting and participation in a meeting. Meetings might seem boring, repetitive, hectic and insanely long sometimes. A good manager should know when, how often and how long a meeting is to take place.

1. Do not dominate
2. Be positive
3. Stick to the Agenda
4. Come prepared
5. Get involved in the discussion
6. Be attentive
